Archiving Policy
Annals of Infectious Diseases and Therapy is committed to the permanent availability of every article it publishes, independent of the continued existence of the journal or its publisher.
Digital preservation
All published content, including supplementary files, is deposited with the following long-term preservation services:
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
These services hold dark archives that are triggered and made publicly available if the journal ceases publication or the content is otherwise unavailable from the publisher's site for an extended period.
Persistent identifiers
Every article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) on publication, registered with Crossref, with full metadata including the licence, references, funding, and author ORCID iDs. The DOI resolves permanently to the article.
Self-archiving
Authors are encouraged to deposit their articles in institutional and subject repositories; see the Open Access and Copyright Policy.
Website backup
The journal's own website and submission system are backed up daily to geographically separate storage, with backups retained for at least 12 months.
Continuity of access
Should Annals of Infectious Diseases and Therapy cease publication, the publisher will:
- Keep the website online for a minimum of five years;
- Trigger release of the preservation archives;
- Transfer the title, back-file, and DOI ownership to a successor publisher or preservation body where possible;
- Notify Crossref, DOAJ, and indexing services.
Requests for content
Readers who cannot access an article through the website may request a copy from editor@somatopub.com. Requests are fulfilled free of charge within five working days.
Indexing and abstracting
The journal deposits metadata with Crossref, DOAJ, Google Scholar, and other indexes so that articles are discoverable through the services libraries and researchers use.
